All HL7 compliant messages can be handled allowing the receipt and transmission of data to and from other HL7 compliant systems.
Typically, the provision of basic admission and demographic messages from the Patient Administration System (PAS), allows ward staff to receive a pre populated patient card on their ward board following admission.
From this point forward Cayder PFM becomes a reliable and real-time source of information regarding the current location and status of the patient, allowing us to pass this data back to the main hospital PAS in real-time. Discharges completed on Cayder PFM can also be interfaced to provide an accurate PAS record at all times.
Beyond these message types, status updates from systems such as Order Communication can be used to update our ward boards as tests are requested and results become available.
We have multiple Trusts utilising bi-directional interfaces for traditional Admission, Discharge and Transfer messages as well as Demographic and other updates.
