Ward Module
This module replaces the traditional ward or team based whiteboard with a fully configurable electronic solution.The software development and configuration is market driven and already deployed in most patient care settings, including Wards, Emergency Departments, Imaging Departments, Theatres and community based teams.
The software enables teams to maintain an active list of patients and key status indicators, as well as facilitating the ability to specify automated rules. In addition, it allows the tracking of outliers, and the provision of prints suitable for use in ward handover or on individual patients.
Up to six electronic notes sections allow staff to record notes just like a traditional whiteboard either via a PC and mouse or by touch on the large screen or other touch enabled device.
Virtual Ward Module
This module contains all the features of our ward module but this time, patients can be automatically added, based upon a single or range of attributes such as team name, consultant, GP, discharge status, or infection status.It allows clinicians, managers and ancillary staff, across the organisation, to maintain an accurate list, whilst benefiting from access to real-time information already in or known to the system.
Information presentation is tailored to the virtual ward requirements meaning that teams only work with the information they need.
Where our virtual wards are automatically populated the patient location is always up-to-date, based on real moves between wards.
Hospital Module
This module provides the overarching hospital advanced bed and discharge management solution.It facilitates a fully configurable live-bed state that can also include beds with patients fulfilling predetermined criteria, thus allowing the effective planning of available and future bed stock.
This powerful tool allows individual beds and patient data to be interrogated and amended in real-time with the changes immediately available on the wards. Central reservations allow co-ordinators to pre book beds even if they still contain a patient.
In addition, our module for Hotel Services can provide effective workflow management for tasks such as bed cleaning and maintenance.
This module can also be used to allow GP’s or other externally approved users to access to their list of patients. These views can be tailored to restrict the available information and, in conjunction with our user account security settings,’ view only’ modes can be established.
Finally, each consultant can have access to a dedicated patient list which can be fully tailored to their needs, driven as always from the core system information that is real-time and therefore, always up to date.
