The Trust was established on 1 October 2006. The organisation matches the boundaries of Halton Borough Council and St Helens Metropolitan Borough Council and looks after the health of around 300,000 people.

The PCT has a highly dedicated workforce of around 2,000 people. Many of these are frontline staff such as district nurses and health visitors provide services directly to local people.

• Cayder software supports the local care team including, Dr’s, Nurses, Allied Health Professionals & GP’s as part of the Trusts inpatient rehabilitation service.
• Patient flow continues within the solution to support the outreach team managing care moving back into a home or other care setting.
• Work on a pre-admission triage service has just commenced.
